Robert C. Matthews, Jr., is Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Risk Manager for Commerce Bancshares, Inc. In this role, he oversees the credit policy, credit administration and internal audit functions of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kansas State University and is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University. Mr. Matthews has more than 30 years of experience with Commerce Bank.
